In 2022, Ashley Thompson visited several coffee farmers in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico to see their recovery since Hurricane Maria, which took place five years prior. The farmers included Agueda Ortiz, Rafael Rodriguez and his wife Joanna Rodriguez and their children Ariana Vanessa and Emily Rose, and Jose Roman.
