Yes, our job listing site allows potential applicants to create a “Presence.” Once you have created a Presence, you can use it to apply to opportunities or to activate job alerts to receive email notifications when we publish a new vacancy. Even if you create a Presence without applying to a specific opportunity, Recruiters and HR Managers can view your information when conducting a database search.

Yes, if a position is published on our website, we are still accepting applications. Please note any application deadlines in the posting.

We are grateful for all the talented individuals who want to be part of TechnoServe, and many of our positions receive upwards of 100 qualified applicants. All applications are rigorously reviewed against the duties, responsibilities, and qualifications outlined in the job description. You will be contacted if you are shortlisted for additional screenings/interviews. At the conclusion of the recruitment process, all applicants will be informed that a selection has been made. If you have made it through the interview stage, you should expect to receive specific feedback as to why a more qualified candidate was selected.

Due to the volume of ongoing vacancies at TechnoServe, it is difficult for Recruiters and HR Managers to offer informational interviews to potential applicants. Additionally, many managers are involved in the selection process and therefore are not able to objectively speak with potential candidates prior to their application.

While you can only apply to a single position once, please continue to apply to additional vacancies where your skills, qualifications, and interests are a match!

TechnoServe offers paid and unpaid internships for college students. Internships are posted on our job listing site. A keyword search for Internship will display available opportunities.

The TechnoServe Fellows Program allows business professionals to have the unique opportunity to contribute their skills by volunteering their time while experiencing the field of international development firsthand. These unpaid positions typically last 3-12 months and work on various projects, including market or value chain assessments, program design, or evaluating program impact.

Hiring national staff is a top priority, so for many of our roles, we prioritize candidates who are nationals of the country of operation. For positions where it is crucial for staff to be based in the country to perform the role, TechnoServe will assist with providing work authorization to the selected candidate if they do not have work authorization there.

If a position lists a “remote” location, it means that we are able to hire candidates in a country where they are authorized to work, but we will not provide work authorization. (For example, a UK citizen may be hired in the UK to perform a role that can be done from anywhere in the world, but we would not provide work authorization because he or she prefers to work from somewhere else).
