Former Managing Director, J.P. Morgan
Rachel Hines is retired as a Managing Director of J.P. Morgan, where she held various positions in the Investment Bank, including Head of the Latin America Capital Markets Group and member of the Emerging Markets Management Team. At J.P. Morgan, Rachel advised governments on the strategy and execution of international capital raising, for which J.P. Morgan held the leading industry position and earned numerous industry awards. Prior to J.P. Morgan, Rachel worked at the World Bank and at the U.S. Agency for International Development in Harare, Zimbabwe.
Rachel is currently on the Board of Trustees of Sesame Workshop where she is on the Executive Committee and chairs the Finance Committee. She also serves on the Board and the Executive Committee of the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Rachel earned an MBA from Yale University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University. She lives in New York City with her husband, Michael Cembalest, and their three boys.
