Types of food fortification
There are 3 types of food fortification based on targeted
consumer:

The requirement in all the types is that any fortification program
should result in:
a) Safe products - The product resulting from the fortification
process should be guaranteed as safe.
b) Efficacy i.e. the product should meet the intended nutritional
results to the majority of the population by providing nutrients
that would give positive nutritional impact
