Brazil

Brazil, a land of superlatives, is South America's largest country, both in terms of population and economy. But this global giant in mining, agriculture and manufacturing has one of the world's most uneven distributions of wealth; more than half the population lives in poverty. TechnoServe has completed a diagnostic in one of the poorest regions of the country to assist small-scale farmers to integrate into the high-value supply chain of a leading agro-processor.
