Michael Davies

Managing Director, Africa Division, Cargill (ret.)

Before retiring in 2002, Michael Davies was Managing Director of Cargill Incorporated’s Africa Division, responsible for the management of all Cargill’s operations in Africa. Earlier, he managed Cargill businesses in the UK and Thailand. Before joining Cargill in 1977, Michael worked for the Anglo American Corporation of South Africa, mining gold and diamonds in South Africa, Namibia and Brazil. Mike holds a BSc in Mining Engineering from Durham University and an MBL from the University of South Africa.
