Laura Corb is a Director at McKinsey & Company and a leader in the Global Telecom, Media & Technology Practice. Laura works primarily with leaders in new and traditional media and technology on a wide range of topics including strategy, growth platforms, performance improvement, customer experience and transformational change.  She also led McKinsey’s Global Innovation Practice and currently leads McKinsey’s Global Recruiting. Prior to joining McKinsey, Laura started up and ran a micro credit bank in Africa, The Women’s Finance House of Botswana, an affiliate of Women’s World Banking.  She also worked at Bain & Company.

Laura has led numerous engagements for non-profit organizations including A Better Chance, the Ad Council, the Apollo Theatre Foundation, Project Red, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the US Fund for UNICEF. Laura is on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Advertising Council.  In addition, she served on the Board of A Better Chance, was a David Rockefeller Fellow, and a fellow of the Foreign Policy Association.

Laura has an A.B. in Social Studies from Harvard University, an M.A. from Stanford’s Food Research Institute, and an M.B.A. from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Laura lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
