Harvey Heller serves as President of Heller Bros. Packing Corporation and as Partner at Pacific Tomato Growers. Both are family-owned businesses involved in the growing, packing and distribution of fresh citrus grown in Florida and field grown vegetables grown in Florida, Georgia, Virginia, California and Mexico. He has served as Chairman of the Board of Winter Garden Citrus Products Co-operative, a leading processor of citrus concentrates, until its sale in 1999. Other industry activities include membership and ultimately chairmanship of the Shipper Advisory Committee, the group responsible for making official recommendations to the Secretary of Agriculture regarding the administration of the Federal Marketing order for fresh citrus products. Harvey has served as a trustee of the Lucerne Hospital in Orlando, a trustee of the Orlando Museum of Art and member of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. From 1999 through 2005, he also served as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Jacksonville, a branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Harvey earned a B.S. in economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
