Between 2008 and 2011, TechnoServe implemented the business plan competition program Idea Tu Empresa in the Santiago Metropolitan Region, Valparaiso and Concepción. Entrepreneurs with new business ideas and already existing businesses received customized consulting and workshops on topics ranging from negotiation to marketing strategies.

TechnoServe supports the development of high potential small and growing businesses (SGBs) located in the surrounding communities of the Anglo American mining company’s five operations.

TechnoServe Chile led the Business Capacities and Competences Development Program in vulnerable communities of the Biobío Region between 2010 and 2011. Consultants provided business training and workshops to more than 50 participants to help them identify business opportunities.
