Business development services play an important role in supporting entrepreneurship, which is critical to driving job creation and economic growth in Haiti. A partnership between TechnoServe, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Haiti, and the Inter‐American Development Bank promoted the growth of the business development services industry in the country and provided technical assistance to small businesses.

TechnoServe, in partnership with Abbott Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, helped over 2,000 smallholder peanut farmers improve their incomes by more than 30 percent.
