Information Technology Intern
(Volunteer Position)
I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

II. PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:
We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in information technology to support our IT manager. Internship responsibilities will include:
- Provide desktop and laptop support for Washington, DC office.
- Troubleshoot networking issues.
- Research issues and technology and prepare briefs for IT manager.
- Coordinate and manage office laptop inventory.
- Perform printer and fax maintenance as necessary.
III. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency in MS operating systems required, knowledge of MACs a plus.
- Ability to bring own laptop PC a plus.
- Work at least 8-16 hours a week; start and end dates are flexible.
- Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Good research, writing and communications skills.
- Enthusiastic self-starter.
- Interest in working in international development, business or fundraising.
