Human Resources Manager


I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

II. PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager for one of our divisions. The successful candidate will develop and implement the division’s Human Resources Strategy in alignment with TechnoServe’s Corporate Human Resources Strategy. The HR manager will also lead the delivery of comprehensive human resource programs, initiatives and solutions to the division to enable successful execution of business strategies. The manager will ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to staff in the division. Advising and supporting the field HR managers is an essential component of this position.

III. KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • 5+ years experience
  • Proven ability to exercise independent judgement, critical thinking and make sound decisions
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience with a multinational workforce, developing country experience highly desired
  • Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Access
