II. POSITION DESCRIPTIONS:

A Regional Dairy Manager is being recruited in Kenya to establish, lead and manage TechnoServe’s regional activities, and to coordinate TechnoServe's country-level activities across the region. Applicants should possess 5+ years experience in business development and management, program design and planning, and strong dairy expertise, especially in regard to the development of dairy production, value chains and markets. Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in business-related studies and proven skills in accounting and financial management are required, and a degree qualification in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business Management or a related field is preferred.

A Senior Business Manager is being recruited in Rwanda to manage TechnoServe’s dairy programs. Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in business development, management, business plan design and execution, and strong knowledge of agro-processing operations and marketing. The candidate should also have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in business or related field and excellent oral and written presentation skills in English and Kinyarwanda.

Two Technical Dairy Specialists are being recruited in Kenya and Uganda to provide technical leadership to the regional dairy project, with a focus on the development and maintenance of dairy chilling plants and associated business development service hubs. Applicants should possess 7+ years of experience in business development and management, service provision to the dairy sector, program design and management, strong dairy expertise, especially in regard to market development and business development services for farmers, and an advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience in the East African dairy sector preferred.
