I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

II. PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:

TechnoServe seeks experienced short- and long-term consultants for potential business and industry development projects in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience on USAID-funded projects
• 5+ years of proven results and success in developing private sector opportunities in agroindustry/agribusiness, natural products, environmental enterprise, tourism or health
• At least five years experience in economic development in Africa, Asia or Latin America
• Proven success in developing competitive, profitable SME and industries
• Knowledge of market assessment via value chain and clusters analyses, includes linkages between firms, vertical and horizontal, and at the end market
• Fluency in French, Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred
