I. GENERAL INFORMATION:

TechnoServe's mission is to build businesses that create jobs, income, opportunity, and economic growth in developing countries. II. PRIMARY PURPOSE & FUNCTION:

We are seeking an individual with interest in international economic development and/or business to help support TechnoServe's Africa Division. This will include helping us on ad hoc projects and proposals, sharing knowledge and lessons learned across the region, and attend various meetings in D.C. on development issues.

III. REQUIREMENTS:

• Intern is required to work at least 8-10 hours/week, starting as soon as possible
• Highly organized and able to juggle multiple tasks
• Good communications, editing and writing skills
• Enthusiastic self-starter
• Interest in working in international development (Africa) or in business
• Business skills, French language skills and Africa knowledge would be a plus
