TechnoServe Receives USDA Grants for Work in Honduras and Nicaragua

Last week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced international food assistance programs that will benefit more than 9.7 million people across the world. TechnoServe was honored to receive two grants under the Food for Progress program.


In Honduras, with support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, TechnoServe has helped coffee farmers improve their productivity and connect to specialty markets.

Last week, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced international food assistance programs that will benefit more than 9.7 million people across the world. TechnoServe was honored to receive two grants under the Food for Progress program. In Honduras, TechnoServe will build on earlier work in order to help coffee and bean farmers learn improved techniques and connect to better markets. In Nicaragua, TechnoServe will empower livestock producers to increase productivity, strengthen business groups and sell to higher-value markets.

TechnoServe is proud to undertake this work with the USDA’s support. We look forward to sharing the results of these programs in the coming years.
