Josefina Klinger recognized the opportunity for tourism to create economic opportunities and promote social development in the region. In 2006, she helped create a partnership of tourism service providers called Mano Cambiada. With the help of TechnoServe’s South American business plan competition, Mano Cambiada has become an economic engine for the Nuquí community.
