In Divo, Côte d’Ivoire, cocoa is critical to the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. TechnoServe is helping farmers to realize the full value of their crops. We are an implementing partner in the Cocoa Livelihoods Program, an initiative led by the World Cocoa Federation that seeks to double the incomes of 200,000 cocoa farming households in five West African countries, including Côte d’Ivoire. The program aims to increase farmer incomes through improved knowledge and productivity, better cocoa quality, crop diversification and improved supply chain efficiencies.
